
Greek songwriting legends including Christos Nikolopoulos, Yannis Parios, Stamatis Spanoudakis, and Antonis Andrikakis penned original material for Remos' third album, 1999's Pali Ap'tin Arhi. His debut earned double platinum certification within a year of release, buoyed by a sold-out tour - Keros Na Pame Parakato followed in 1998 and was even more successful. In 1995 he relocated to Athens, opening for the likes of Dimitris Mitropanos, Stefanos Korkolis, and Mario Tokas, ultimately landing a record deal with Sony.


After graduation Remos worked a series of odd jobs while moonlighting as a singer on the local club circuit.

Born June 19, 1970, in Düsseldorf, West Germany, at age ten he returned with his family to their native Greek city of Thessaloniki. With the 1996 release of his self-titled debut album, Antonis Remos emerged as one of the premier Greek pop stars of his generation.
